Young of E. akaara was fed by scorpion fish; Sebastiscus marmoratus, jack; Trachurus japonicus and squid; Sepioteuthis lessoniana. Other predators (ex: sculpins, other scorpion fishes, red−spotted grouper (adult), Octopus) inhabiting this area have a possibility to be potential predators on E. akaara. Furthermore a lot of fishes feeding on small crustaceans compete with E. akaara for food.}, pages = {41--61}, title = {伊吹島岩礁性魚類の食性}, volume = {17}, year = {1997} }
